Description

‘Hook’ fastener on rear for applying to ‘loop’ / VELCRO® surfaces, as found on many outdoor jackets, bags and hats. Easily removed when not required.

Glows in the dark for night-time visibility, charges by sunlight or artificial light, such as a flashlight, and remains visible for up to 12 hours. Ultra-bright (class F: 520mcd/m2 @10min) green photoluminescent vinyl material for maximum brightness.

Ideal for marking individuals at night, with a visibility in the hundreds of metres. Also ideal for tents, kit or anything you may otherwise struggle to locate easily at night.

Bright enough to be used to illuminate maps when freshly charged. Gentle illumination helps preserve dark-adapted vision compared to the glare from a flashlight at night.

The Glo Patch features a ‘hook’ type fastener on the rear allowing it to be easily applied to anything that features a ‘loop’ material, typically found on outdoor/military clothing and bags. Similar in concept to a ‘morale patch’ but designed for as much brightness as possible, using the brightest available ‘class F’ photoluminescent vinyl material.

The face ‘charges’ under exposure to sunlight or flashlight, and will initially be very bright – enough to read a map with. This brightness fades to a gentle glow after an hour or so, but remains easily visible for up to 12 hours at night from a single ‘charge’.

It is ideal to mark individuals on night-time hikes, marking your gear, and as a glow-in-the-dark wipe-clean surface for written notes or labelling. Useful for camping, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities.

‘Hook and loop’ self-adhesive surfaces and wrap-around loops are readily available, allowing the Glo Patch to be applied to almost anything.
